If you (I mean, your kids) haven't played with Oobleck yet, you should grab the cornstarch and get to it. I have to confess that we haven't read the Dr. Seuss book that this awesome substance is supposedly named after, but it is on my list for the next trip to the library. I also have to confess that the science of how and why this does what it does is beyond me, but Wiki seems to have it figured out.
Two parts cornstarch and one part water equals a concoction that is sometimes liquid, sometimes solid, and always fun.
Who is this woman?
My name is Niku and this is my virtual home. Much like our real home, it is filled with kid's art, books, food, and a constant desire to grow and learn. My girls are eight, five, and one. My husband makes me laugh every single day.
